New Am Grad Career Segments

Air Date:

September 16, 2015

Homework Hotline has teamed up with public media's national initiative, American Graduate: Let’s Make it Happen.

Every year 1 million kids drop out of high school nationwide. The American Graduate initiative was created by public media to help communities to raise awareness about dropout issues, provide support to students, and connect young people with resources related to learning (both in and out of the classroom).

Throughout the 2015-2016 season, Homework Hotline will be showcasing special American Graduate video segments on Wednesday nights. HH will be exploring careers and colleges, young entrepreneurs, and even some programs or courses that young people could be taking right now. All of these video segments are created to help students in the middle and high school grades become college and/or career ready.
